Mystery Jets session with Steve Lamacq
This week, some of my favorite people in the world stopped by the BBC’s Maida Vale studios to record a session for Steve Lamacq’s 6 Music show. Those people were, of course, Mystery Jets.
The boys had a fun chat with Lamacq about recording their new album Serotonin (released July 5th UK/July 13th US via Rough Trade) and performed stellar versions of ‘Flash a Hungry Smile’ and ‘Dreaming of Another World’.

Jamie T makes me dislike Beyonce a little bit less
Thanks to the musaq station at work that constantly plays the same ten songs on loop, I can’t listen to more than three seconds of Beyonce’s “If I Were a Boy” without wanting to drive a sharp object into my ears. Thanks to Jamie T, my reaction is now a lot less violent:
You should buy his new album Kings & Queens. Seriously.
