With less than two weeks until its release, Johnny Flynn is giving fans the chance to stream five tracks from his highly anticipated second album Been Listening. FIVE TRACKS. That’s pretty much half the album right there!!
The sampler includes vibrant, brass-filled single “Kentucky Pill,” title-track “Been Listening,” and “The Water” featuring guest vocals from Laura Marling. While it is no surprise that Flynn can produce songs of such high caliber, “The Water” truly stands out as one of the most beautiful songs my ears have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. If you loved their version recorded for Shaun Keaveny’s radio show, you ain’t heard nothing yet!
