Nostalgia Party: Jamie T style
This video just came to my attention, two years after the fact. Jamie T + “Calm Down Dearest” + Chicago = EPIC like you wouldn’t believe:
oh, who’s that you hear at the 2:00 mark?
This is still probably the most bizarre and incredible day/night/early morning of my life.

Vampire Weekend
Seriously?
Why?
I honestly don’t get it.* And I hate that now whenever I think of horchata (mmm), I will undoubtedly think of these punks.
The only way I can handle them:

New She & Him tune + album
I mentioned it a few weeks back, but I’ll admit it again: I am pretty stoked about She & Him’s second album Volume Two. Then again, so are a couple thousands of peeps.

Volume Two will be released March 23rd, but you can listen to new song “In The Sun” on their myspace. It’s sunny and catchy and Deschanel isn’t doing that semi-annoying high-pitched voice thing.
If you’d rather stream it on youtube:
Oh hey, more Good Shoes news

So here’s what’s up in the world of Good Shoes and their new album:
- You can listen to No Hope No Future in full over on their myspace: CLICKETY CLICK
- You can officially buy No Hope No Future tomorrow (January 25th): BUY BUY BUY
- You can catch Good Shoes live all over the UK next month: GO AND PARTY GO GO
All sorts of new stuff from Blood Red Shoes
Blood Red Shoes have a new video for “Light It Up,” the first single from their upcoming album Fire Like This:
You can buy “Light It Up” on limited edition 7″ or digital download next month, February 22nd to be exact. Fire Like This is set for release on March 1st and you can pre-order that bad boy now.
And if you visit their official website BloodRedShoes.co.uk, you can listen to five new songs from the album (“It Is Happening Again”/”Heartsink”/”Keeping It Close”/”Light It Up”/”Colours Fade”) AND they’ll be adding a new song to the site every week until the album’s release. SNAP.
So yeah, you should go have a listen because things are sounding pretty damn good.
Seriously:
