I’ve been feeling nostalgic

Sure it’s nothing new, but for my most recent bout of nostalgia I blame Pitchfork and their recent countdown of the Top 200 Albums of the 2000s. Granted I don’t actually agree or care for 97% of the list, but it makes me nostalgic nonetheless. I was only 12 years old at the start of the millennium and in these last nine years I’ve discovered 99% of the music that’s made me the freak some people know and (try to) love today. It’s been a good nine years, so I’m compiling a list: “The 20 albums that have made the first ten years of the millenium the best decade in little Catalina’s life so far”. Both the list and the title are a work in progress. Stay tuned.

Other things making me nostalgic: long conversations about 90s sitcoms that will stay in our hearts forever

They really don’t make them like they used to.
